Capital City Pride works toward a future without oppression, where people of diverse backgrounds experience equity through inclusion and community-building. Our organization is dedicated to producing events that promote a diverse, inclusive, and positive image of the LGBTQIA+ community.
The CCA believes in the power of arts experiences to shape lives and strengthen community bonds. To that end, CCA’s mission is to serve both area residents and virtual and in-person visitors from near and far through live dynamic engagements with performing artists that inspire, educate, and entertain, deepening human-to-human connections, expanding community vitality, and generating economic growth.
As a cultural center, we intentionally create programming and relationships that center diverse identities, and increase access for people who have been traditionally marginalized and under-resourced. Kimball Jenkins is honored to serve as an important cultural and economic hub for artists and events within the region.
